What we do

At Edutech Teachers Network, we are dedicated to empowering educators and transforming education through the power of educational technology (EdTech). Our mission is to create an inclusive and sustainable education system in Uganda by supporting teachers, schools, and students with the tools and resources they need to succeed in a rapidly changing world.

Here’s a closer look at the key activities and initiatives that define what we do:

We believe that empowering teachers is the first step toward transforming education. Through our professional development programs, we offer a wide range of workshops and webinars designed to enhance teachers’ digital skills and equip them with the tools they need to integrate technology into their classrooms effectively.

Training Workshops: Tailored to meet the specific needs of teachers, focusing on integrating EdTech tools into teaching practices.

Online Webinars: Engaging sessions that cover the latest EdTech trends, tools, and techniques to enhance classroom experiences.

EdTech Clubs: We support schools in establishing student-run tech clubs to encourage hands-on learning in coding, robotics, digital storytelling, and more.

Our EdTech Clubs serve as creative hubs for students and educators to explore technology, learn new skills, and collaborate on exciting tech-based projects. We offer mentorship opportunities for both teachers and students, providing them with guidance, resources, and the support they need to become leaders in educational technology.

Peer-to-Peer Mentorship: Teachers and students connect with industry professionals and fellow educators to exchange knowledge, ideas, and best practices.

We provide schools and teachers with the tools they need to integrate EdTech seamlessly into their curriculums. Our team develops and curates a variety of educational resources, including lesson plans, digital content, and online learning platforms to help teachers deliver engaging, tech-enhanced lessons.

Digital Learning Resources: Provide free access to a wide range of resources, such as e-books, digital lesson plans, and EdTech tools, to support classroom instruction.

Curriculum Support: Guide teachers in using technology to enhance curriculum delivery and improve student outcomes.
